Privacy Promise
Simple Expenses App is built so that we, ABM Software, cannot see your receipts. There is no account to create, no server collecting your data, no analytics watching how you spend.
Receipts, photos, packets, and trip data live in app storage on your iPhone. We don't operate a database that contains your records.
Receipt parsing happens on your device. We don't upload your images to a server for processing.
There is no ad network, analytics SDK, or tracker embedded in the app that targets you personally.
Sending a packet via email, share sheet, or link is the only way receipts leave your phone, and you initiate it.

Nothing about your receipts or trips. The app does not require an email address, name, or login. Apple may share anonymous, aggregated download and crash metrics with us via the App Store; those reports never include your personal information or receipt data.
On your iPhone, inside Simple Expenses App's app sandbox. They are not synced to iCloud, our servers, or any third party. If you uninstall the app, your data goes with it, so back up by sending a packet to yourself before deleting.
Only when you decide. Tapping Send Packet hands a ZIP file to iOS so you can email it, share it via Messages, AirDrop it, or save it to Files. We aren't a middleman in that transfer. Your phone talks directly to the destination you pick.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. We don't see your payment details. Apple tells us when a subscription is active so the app can unlock sending; that's the extent of the data exchange.
We don't ship third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers in the app. Receipt parsing runs on-device using Apple's Vision framework.
Simple Expenses App isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect data from them.

Short version: receipts are yours, kept on your phone, and nothing is shared unless you email or link it to someone.
